Anyone fancy running away to spain...

I know it sounds reckless and irresponsible, but sometimes when all you can think about day and night are your problems. I cannont get mt impending Bankruptcy out of my head at all... Was paid today, and goin to the bank and trying to take all the cash out so can save up for fees etc .

There are 2 of us and we are lucky to bring in around £2k per month, I sometimes think that we should sod everything off for 3 months, give the house back, save up the £6k and sod off to Benidorm and try set up there... Just run away from it all.

I'm sure there would be implications, etc etc etc etc.... But wouldnt uit be nice just to fly away from it all...

  • Nice thought mate but the chances are you would only end up in problems over there! If you can't get decent jobs your standard of living could well be worse than over here and the debt would start all over!

I'll let you pay to take me away for a couple of weeks though. Seperate rooms mind! ;)

    Hi Mike

I know we are all in different circumstances but just wanted to say there are two of us and I only bring in £840 a month and I don't even have any debt  (luckily, of course ;) ) Theres always someone worse off, I daresay someone else out there has even less than that. Not trying to be judgemental or anything but I wish I had £2,000 a month coming in :D

I do sympathise with the bankruptcy thing and I know that idea of disappearing off to Spain must be very appealing for you but stick it out and try to take pleasure in the small things in life and look ahead to the future.
  • Thanks Debb... Thats supportive and appriciated... If only the £2k was all ours eh !

Its funny how I reakon a lot of people have the 'run away' conversation. Ill be honest if the BKY goes t1ts up ... then im on the Easyjet to Alicante ! ... see still DFW on a cheap flight eh !!
