Who gonna look in a bt phone book for names the internet is the first thing that comes to minds.

all you have is his name and rough location (assuming it's true)

anything you can find will be information that he himself has made available, and that's on the assumption that he's the only Trevor Bourner in Hants.

As long as he is aware how much info he has made available.

yeah, except all those things are a different Trevor Bourne

if you bother to look, you would have seen that the facebook profile belongs to a Trevor Bourne in Vancouver Canada... which would tally with the fact his dog Loki is a Husky

/\ thanks, I'll look into some of those things and see how she feels about them. I can guess what she'll say but as mentioned it's a case of telling her how it is and letting her decide.

As for what LittleVoice said at the start, that's mainly why I've bought fags for her, because it's her choice to give me the money to buy them. She has bought them online before as well as booze but she is NOT good on a computer and really hates doing it - so the argument to buy clothes cheaper online and save £30pcm is a tough one.

And as I said earlier; so what? What exactly are you going to do with that information? It's stuff I've put on the internet to show friends, but I'm not silly enough to put anything sensitive on the net that anyone can read (obviously if you're a hacker you'd be able to find all sorts of things! :D ).
I'm also an Engineer and I work at Xyratex - happy searching! :p

Ok fair enough as long as you are aware how much info is available about you thats ok.
Many others would not be comfortable with that.

That's the main reason I'm in so much debt! :D

Anyway, I'm going to recommend changing her TV package from XL to L, keep the movie channels.
Go onto a Talk Anywhere 400 phone package which gives free calls up to 400 minutes to any number (almost).
Stop using catalogues and pay them off.
Use backy rather than buying fags.

That should save about £170 a month by my estimations.

She's in housing association rented property so I don't think she can get a water meter or change her gas/leccy meters? Maybe she could ask the association. TBH it's only £10 a month from Portsmouth water, and the £34 from Southern Water is paying off an old debt so it's pretty cheap anyway?
