I claimed and today I got two letters both with girocheque.

1st states I will get £65.45 a week and giro covers 9/5 until 4/6.

2nd states nothing but Your claim for ESA at the top, giro enclosed for the same period above written on giro but letter states nothing but "If you want to know more about this payment please contact us"

Now google is your friend & I assume the second payment is for my middle rate DLA ? That qualifies me for Severe Disability Premium ?

Is this right ?

Also am I paid ESA in arrears ?
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:
:D
;)

If the letter with the giro says 'Your claim to ESA' then I think it would be safe to assume that it is a giro from ESA. The DLA system doesnt issue ESA giro's.

Getting MRC doesnt automatically qualify you for SDP. Is there anyone else living with you?

    ESA is paid in arrears.

    Hi NASA,

Single and DWP knew that so I guessed from google DWP applied SDP ontop of ESA as on MRC DLA, so I guess DWP computer auto did generate payment as I am single on DWP from ESA claim of early May.

    So I get paid 18th then :)

    Thankyou !

£450 wow ! Never had so much cash in a long time, 30% loans back to dad & will buy food till 18th and I have some savings to bank & a little treat to me for all the poverty years :D

Savings ? I have not had any since 2006 ! LOL
