Sat Nav Problem

Hi just need a little help from anyone in the know.

I bought a Navman F20 sat nav 3 years ago and recently it has stopped charging, i know that the F20 has a common fault where the connector inside the unit comes away so this might be the problem?. Someone has said that buying the T1 Traffic Module will mean I can bypass the broken connector as the charger plugs into the T1 module and that in turn charges the unit. Any ideas as to whether this is true or any ideas as to what else could be wrong with it.

Thanks in advance.

The F20 will pick up the power through the hot shoe on the T1. Are you sure that the battery is not faulty or the charger itself is not dead ?
