Help! Friend has accidentally dyed her hair jet black

From memory when I last dyed my hair dark brown it came out black, and faded to the colour it should have been within a few weeks. But obviously this depends on how often you wash your hair, and if it's seriously bothering her than Colour B4 would be the quickest solution.
