They wont leave you with not enough to live on, they dont leave you with lots of mney but certainly enough for a reasonable lifestyle.
ED - Well not alot you can do now except respond quickl whenever the OR asks you something so the case gets finished quicker, if you have already done something which you shouldnt have done you wont get ED, but as i say not alot you can do now, and if you havent done anything wrong as it were then it is down to being lucky with how busy your OR isHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

There's never any certainty that anyone will be granted early discharce. From what I understand it's very much he luck of the draw and based upon the bankrupts conduct before the order was granted. I didn't 'qualify' for ED and have had thoughts about whether my conduct was thought be be improper or whether my office was just too busy. It's not worth wondering about to be honest but I can see why you would want to - get that closure as soon as possible.
Hve you done an SOA on here so the good people can have a look to see if you've covered all what you should be covering, not missed anything out which may become an expense. If an SOA is done properly you should always have enough to survive but never any extravagance.
The OR interview is a very scary thing to anticipate but believe me once that phone rings you'll cope and be focused, once you put the phone down however, they'll be an adrenaline of somesort i'm sure - feeling of elation because that was the last big and embarrasing thing you have to do.0 -
thank you off to work now but just can seem to get it out my mind - TTFN0

This was what I was dreading the most, but it was no where near as bad as I thought. Just be totally honest with them, don`t waffle on, try and keep your answers to the point. Have your SOA in front of you so they can go through it with you, it is also wise to have a drink handy in case your mouth goes dry, when it goes quiet it is because they are writing things down, don`t be tempted to explain things when this is happening.
I know it is easy to say, but please don`t worry, you will be fine.
Good luck and hope you sail through it:pB&SC No. 298

Hi Greytdog , i asked the OR this week about early discharge , after i was made BR ,[ my interview is next tuesday] . she said there are now no early discharges since the rules change in april , so no luck there . it seems they are to costly to administer and the judges have to concentrate on more important matters now ... shame i was hoping i might get one in the future !!! good luck .0

Hi sadnblue, i think your OR was jumping the gun a little bit. ED is still very much in force at the moment, They are thinking of repealing it, and have issued a consultation document but there has been no change in the rules as of yetHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

You shouldnt worry about the OR interview. Mine ended up increasing some of my expenses to ensure I could live.
HAve all your papers in front of you, a drink and a comfy chair.
99% of the info they ask you will have written on the form.
My advice is you do your SOA and if you have a surplus..invent a cat:D0 -
try not to worry about the interview, it really won't be as bad as you imagine
as others have said, get yourself prepared and you'll be fine0 -
