It will be heading for the Ombudsman first thing tomorrow as well as official complaints to both companies so thats where i am heading.

You won't be able to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman until you have fully exhausted the companies' complaint procedures.
    Best Regards

Possibly although I did say in my offer letter that things are unlikely to change in the near future especially given the hard times we are all about to face.

Second job, bar work, mini cabbing, bettaware, etc etc. There is stuff out there if you are prepared to put in the effort. Its better than just giving in and complaining.

Gonna have to agree to disagree.

Even been advised by the CCCS and CAB that Bankruptcy is the only option, as these are both charities and don't have anything to gain by me doing this, its good to see they have the best interests of their clients at heart.

Without covering old ground yet again, I do blame them for a lot of what has happened, not all, but they did have a major part to play in this.

Overheads have already been cut in order for me to even find then £40 for repayments.

It will be heading for the Ombudsman first thing tomorrow as well as official complaints to both companies so thats where i am heading.

I have now completed my Bankruptcy papers so they will more than likely be submitted after a word with the CAB.

You might as well go bankrupt mate,at least after 6 years it will drop off your file..

Bankruptcy is the cowardly way out, and I stand by this
    .

Sorry TFD but if you actually knew some of the stories of the people who have had to go through BR, it is most definitely not the cowardly way out! And you can't judge people as cowards until you have lived in their shoes and struggled as they have and often have got to BR as their very last resort. Yes there are ones who think its the easy option but the majority do not consider it to be easy or a cheat's way out.

In fact - your whole life - no matter how many years it is since you went BR, if you are ever asked "Are you or have you ever been declared bankrupt?" by any financial institution, you always have to say yes and disclose it, even if it was 20 years previously... And this doesn't just count for loans/bank accounts, it is simple things like Home Insurance too... it is always with you... and permanently recorded on the London gazette also.

Someone i knew went bankrupt a few years back,he now has is own home, own car, credit cards,we are talking late 90's,don't think it is the end of the world going bankrupt,or a cowards way out,yes for some people it can be a big joke becoming bankrupt, but for the majority of people it is very hard to do,and TBH think also the majority of people asked if they have been declared bankrupt before on credit applications or anything best bet is just tell them no...
