Just off in a moment to an afternoon car boot......and well.....I know its sad but I'm really excited. :j
I havent managed to go to one for a few months and I'm really looking forward to going.
*laughing* My kids think I'm daft.
I get a real buzz before going, a buzz when I'm buying, a buzz when I return to show off my bargains and a buzz when I sell or use them.....:D
Who needs drugs and alcohol :rotfl:
Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, I get like that too! I get bargain withdrawal during the winter months when there are hardly any boot sales or jumble sales, then I feel quite excited when I go to the first jumble sale or car boot sale of the year. My husband doesn't understand me!0

But I love haggling for a bargain!0 -

:j Came back with 5 books all brought for 50p and just checked on amazon and they should all make approx £8 each.
Brought some cooking apples 8lb for 50P ...really great to go with the blackberries I had picked in the morning.
Brought 4 laura ashley tops which will be great for patchwork all 50p and under.
Toiltries for xmas presents.
A new chopping board in the packaging for £1
Two gorgeous new jigsaws in cellophane still for 50p each.
A brand new baby book.
Some bits and pieces to put in the christmas shoeboxes for children abroad..all 10p each......pretty hair clips, small mcdonald toys in packaging, teddies, mini kite, make your own finger puppet, sparkly stickers, little pad books, bead set, necklace and bracelet set.

I hope you mean you want to customise them, not to cannibalise them! Laura Ashley is still pretty big on eBay.Sallys_Savings wrote:

Haven't been to a boot sale for a while now, so I'm having to rely on charity shops for my bargain "fix". Yesterday, I bought a skirt for myself (50p), a T-shirt for my son (£1) and a vintage dressing gown for eBay (£1).0 -
