how do you copy old fashioned photos - no negatives, just the original print

Have you tried your local libraries to see if they have a scanner? Mine has a scanner with the computers. I'm not sure how you get the media though, whether you can put the scanned image on a disk/usb stick or whether they print it for you. Worth asking though.

If they do, you can always just do 1 or 2 photos to see what they are like.

I personally tend to get any photos printed at a store, online etc. as I figure they have more expensive machines than me and inks and paper can be expensive.
