Childcare allowance for student nurses?

I'm just reapplying for my NHS bursary (going into 2nd year). I've got to fill out the childcare allowance because I need to use a childminder
My costs are going to vary throughtout the whole year. During term time it's going to be about £71.50 a week (only 17 hours per week) but the holidays are going to be about £190 a week (4 1/2 full days 8 -6)
Some months are going to be a lot cheaper than others.
Does anyone know if the bursary people average out the costs over the whole year then pay that monthly or are you paid what it actually costs month by month?
My 1st year was easier because the costs were the same every month!

Not sure how it's done with the bursary students, but for SLC Childcare it's done on 85% of your total estimated cost per term.0

Yeah I know it's just a percentage you get help with. I'm only entitled to small percentage anyway because of my OH's wage.
I was just wondering if they average out the costs over the whole year rather than paying the actual costs month by month
Sorry it's a bit confusing
I don't think I'm explaining it very wellFuture Mrs Gerard Butler
