Yes do that first but I am an engineer for sky and there maybe a problem with the LNB0

As mentioned above check that a tree in the garden hasn't grown during the summer and is now tall enough to block the signal. We had this problem. Stand under your dish and look where its pointing and see if there is a tree in the way. Top the tree or move the dish to a clear path.0

I had the same problem and after 3 visits from Sky Engineers and 3 new boxes,I eventually replaced the coax and the problem went away !!0

try this sequence
Switch everything off
unplug sky box
remove the card
leave for 10 -15 seconds
plug in again
switch sky box on
you should get the Sky welcome page
put the card back in and try going to BBC1
probably will say searching for channels
This should soft reset the box and you should get your channels back
If this doesnt work - its probably the hardware or dish0 -
Mine does that if I use my mobile phone in one of the rooms near the dish. It also does it in bad weather and if I've had it switch off for a while.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Mine has been freezing on some channels recently, but seems to fix itself up. Sky is well known to play up if you have a storm/heavy rain hitting the sky dish so that may your problem0
