i have been told today my job will end in July, and also my college placement so i am desperatly looking for a job but what if i cant find a job..... ????

my husband works so can i claim JSA i am available for work as i can use childcare again while i work ???

would i need a letter from my employer saying i am being made redundant ??

Hi Kurjam - sorry to hear your news!
With regards to JSA - you might be eligible for contributions Based jsa if you have paid enough premiums over the past while (3 years I think?). As for CTC, HB and CT Benefit - they are all means tested, so it would depend on what total household income is as to what help you would get.
Good luck on the job hunt!

not if you qualify for contribution based. You get that for 6 months. If you currently get help with childcare costs that will stop.
