Oooh yes...forgot to say that we asked for a quote at the time, and the lady said it should be valid for upto a week once the sale has ended!
(..and yes MFI are definately in the most recent deals booklet!).0 -
They are not selling sofas at the moment as they are looking for a new supplier. They sold all thier sofaworkshop stock off at a reduced price about 2months ago, I purchased 2 leather sofas in the sale using my tesco deal vouchers and had no problem. I'm waiting for delivery now, they said middle of september, I'm really worried incase they go bust and I lose all my vouchers.0

They are definately selling sofas at the moment, as I will be ordering one this weekend. They have a new range of italian made sofas, one of which is rather nice - the 'Zoe', which is an earthly grey/brown colour. There are no discounts on the sofas at the moment though.Tesco Deals Vouchers : £1500 in deals used towards Florida 2010 honeymoon and £318 towards Wedding rings in Goldsmiths - Thanks to all Tesco points savers who helped me along the way! :beer:0

Is there an expiry date on the MFI vouchers?
I've got lots of Tesco vouchers that are nearing expiry so want to get them sent off to convert into MFI vouchers, but I'm not planning on shopping at MFI until the January sales.0 -
Deals tokens valid for 6 months, remember they are name specific, so be careful. I am just about to exchange my for use in January Sales, holding out to get Novembers points in the hope of getting a swanky cooker as well

I decided to get a definative answer before commiting myself to MFI vouchers, so called into MFI yesterday. There are apparently 2 ranges of sofa! The old ones supplied by Sofa Workshop, which they are discontinuing, and a new range, not supplied by Sofa Workshop. Ours is in the new range so there is hope! The lady is getting back to me later on today as to whether they are accepting the vouchers against the new range. I would think that they'll have to though, as this new company is not mentioned in the deals booklet as an exception! Fingers crossed!0

I believe, from reading other threads, that you can ask Tesco Clubcard to re-credit your vouchers (even expired ones) to your Clubcard account. If you do this now you will get them all sent out to you in the next mailing (pre-Christmas).

Just to let you know, I ordered my sofa and chair last night. Came to £828 and we used £735 vouchers (they had never seen so many before- they were really amazed!!) - but they wouldn't give any discount at all, they say the margin is so thin on the new sofas that they will never be in the sale. They did give me free delivery though, which saved £40.
Another thing to note is that they would only accept 15 vouchers for each transaction and wouldn't let me pay in two 'installments' of vouchers, so we had to put the chair and sofa through seperately (we had 25 vouchers). Luckily they both were above £250!
One more thing - the sofa we ordered, the 'Zoe' from the new range, is currently an 8 week wait for delivery.Tesco Deals Vouchers : £1500 in deals used towards Florida 2010 honeymoon and £318 towards Wedding rings in Goldsmiths - Thanks to all Tesco points savers who helped me along the way! :beer:0
