Mfi/tesco Vouchers

Hi there

so sorry if this is in wrong place. Please feel free to move.

I have managed (thanks to all on this site) to save more than enough for my brand new shiney kitchen from MFI. It goes without saying that Mr T will be paying for tthe large part. Hubby has agreed to fit and we have done the design.
However I cannot get the vouchers before the end of the current promotion.
I know that these things run and run, but I just want to make sure.

Does anyone out there who works for MFI know how long this current promotion will be extended for.?

Regards and thanks to all

Last year Which exposed the fact that MFI 'Sales' are just a marketing gimmick.

What may be of more concern is that MFI is losing money and is up for sale, I believe the asking price is £1.00.

    HI,

we got a kitchen in the January sale thanks to Mr T and beef in gravy, we have once had weekly emails from them about one sale or another, and I agree it seems like their is little or no gap between them, so I would not worry, also the vouchers did come through within a few days

MFI say £1500 is the most you can use, but when I went in they were not bothered, (they can put it through as 2 sales for you) make sure you get the vouchers in denominations of £100 as they cannot give change,

    Thanks for that.
I have just read T & C in deals booklet and it states minimum spend of £250, no limit as to number of vouchers that can be used.

Must admit I am a bit worried about not getting goods/refund if they go pear shape

Ask them for a quote on the kitchen while the sale is on and this will be good for a certain period of time after the sale ends, we did this for an item that we were waiting for Tesco vouchers for.

If you do manage to go to MFI in between sales, like we have done, the sales brochure will still be available instore, and you will be able to buy at the lower price.

    Just ask :D

I think we should badger MFI for a solid answer to this...
We need to know if our vouchers will be worth 1 x value or 4 x value, there's quite a difference.

I have just bought some kitchen appliances with my tesco deals it says you can only us a maximum if 15 at a time. The sales vary usually 2 weekly we just waited until what we wanted was reduced, if you look at their price lists they are marked A or B most kitchens are always half price. Our deals came as 100.00 but we paid in installments and use a total of 20+ vouchers but only 5-6 at a time. They also will be delivering it all for 25.00 instead of 50.00we did't ask for this it was offered to us. When I payed my final instalment on saturday the sales person was on the phone to a customer and told him thet he could have the discount he asked for on the previous day as the boss had ok'd it. So I think they are desperate to sell anything. I always buy from Mfi mid week just as they open and they are more than happy to sell anything. Last year I bought bedroom furniture (tesco deals) and got 5 years garuantee (didn't want it) and delivery for 10.00 this helped the salesperson get his bounus for selling the warranty so we all gained.

Just about to buy a mattress from MFI with some Tesco clubcard vouchers. Should I be worried that the whole chain could be sold at some point in the future or worstcase go into administation....

I thought I read somewhere a little while back that you could no longer use Tesco clubcard deal vouchers with MFI... but I suppose that must be incorrect from what you've written here... Good news, was wondering what to use my vouchers on.
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.

Has anyone used the tesco vouchers at Sofaworkshop at MFI. We've been in twice looking and have mentioned we are after a sofa and that we would be paying some with tesco vouchers. Neither of the sales assistants have said that I can't. However, when I looked in the latest deals booklet, it says that you can't! I'm confused and don't want to send off for vouchers I wouldn't then be able to use. Any MSEs out there that can help!!! Thankyou!
