Hi Guys, I was put off the Zoostorm so have purchased a £400 Samsung R519 Notebook today from Argos, which is like gold dust!!

What sold the deal was the pre-registered 3year Warranty, 3yr AVG net Security and a FREE CASE (and mouse) BUT the silly sausages didn't have any of the cases in stock!!! (I have 2 months to redeem the case offer) The offer doesn't show on the net for some reason but shows instore/home catalogue.

Anyway it looks smart, nice screen, keyboard good. It was easy to set up, mostly all by itself.

It has some pre-installed trials like Mcafee and Office 2007.

It may be a slightly older model but has mostly good reviews and the forementioned extras!

What is the best FREE software to add to it to keep it tip-top? I have Firefox so far.

3 year AVG is useless - it used to be good in the past but it now isn't.

I still don't understand why they would put mcaffee on too? Two antiviruses would slow the computer down so you might need to remove it with the removal tool http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507

I would recommend avira which is free.

Mcafee is a pre-installed 60 day trial. AVG isn't installed, just a Netbook pass key stuck to the Samsung box. I have Kaspersky on an old pc until Feb 2011

I have added ShockWave Flash Player.

Samsung has Update Plus which is good.
