Just wanted to let you all know that as I have been poorly etc,I haven't yet had a chance to contact ISP, but about 5days after i posted this thread I received a code for my footie shirt from Jaffa, no explanation just the code?! Anyway, shirt has just arrived! Thanks everyone for the advice/support and Jaffa for sorting yourselves out - as I'm sure you read this thread
Hi guys, sorry to post here but I wanted to see if anyone else has had problems claiming from Jaffa??
I sent off my claim, with all the correct id etc, and received an email yesterday saying they would not honour the prize as..: 'You have exceeded the maximum number of daily entries allowed by changing your contact details across multiple entry attempts.'
I am really puzzled as I used one packet to enter and used the same details/email etc??? But the email they sent yesterday came with a mispelling of my surname (different to what is on the winning email which is the correct spelling), so I called them, they called back and left an answering machine message saying: 'You mispelt your name on multiple occassions to gain extra entries so this is why we are disqualifying you'..so I called back and said, while I may be a little be rubbish at spelling why would I mis-spell my surname?! The lady replied that she couldn't help any further, I asked about the ISP and her response was 'The ISP will support us with every disqualification' ...........
I know I didn't cheat, as what would be the point? I wouldn't have been able to claim the prize if I had, as my id would be wrong? Do you think it is worth approaching the ISP or is Jaffa lady right and they will not be interested as it is their word against mine?
Sorry for the whinge!

should use roboform0
-
If it were me I'd go to ISP and see if they could help me out, I know I wouldn't accept it if I knew I had done nothing wrong
Good luck!should use roboform
Roboform skips my surname off on the Jaffa form, I have to put it in myself, to do so I often use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy and paste it, somehow I managed to put my surname with a V at the end
I won .. heart in mouth moment but I claimed and got my prizeA heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!
Proud to of never used or felt the need to use a chain of any sorts on a puppy0 -
I didn't use roboform, and I know I typed it carefully - i may have spelt something else wrong but not my name!! I suppose I have nothing to lose contacting the ISP, as I'm not getting the prize anyway at the moment, the jaffa woman just made me think I would be wasting my time even approaching them. Thanks for the replies, I just felt awful for being accused of being a cheat, and no way to prove that i didn't!
It was a footie shirt I won, and Jaffa if you're reading you disappoint me

Didn't quite a few people have these problems with the dunk or not comp? Also McVities..."If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

thats very disappointing.
I usually enter with full name but sometimes it its the dorito comp, I use my initial for quickness.

Thats awful! I would contact them and try to clear it up if it was me - hope you get it sorted x0
