Pay day tomorrow but got my payslip today, did some extra work at the start of the month, but its not on this months pay, processed too late for this months pay apparently, nice bonus for next month I guess.

Feeling a little more upbeat at last. I rang HSBC as I haven't paid for the last 2/3 months. DH was going to pay it and set up a direct debit for the minimum each month so rang to ask for the direct debit mandate, whilst I was on the phone I thought i'd have a shot to see if they could do anything to help and they have agreed to reduce my minimum payment and my APR has been moved from 17.9% to 6% for 9 months which I feel rather smug about!

I have taken up Pheonix Trading to get myself out of the house on my at home with the kids days as I get myself pretty housebound. I had hoped it could get me out and about plus a tiny bit of bonus cash (or just pay for our own greeting cards) but have quite a few orders already and the catalogues aren't due to be collected until Thursday so a little bit more smugness there!

DH has just rung his dad to get his bank details to pay the last £500 towards the holiday and he told us not to bother so that can go to pay debts and we might go really wild and get a new tyre as one of my car tyres has had a puncture which we have had to pump up every couple of days as we couldn't afford to fix it! More smugness!

The business has paid £60 for my Halifax card and it isn't even due until next week so no late fees this month - wild eh! I am so smug now i might explode!

I had £30.95 left in my accounts before pay day so thats now gone to B&Q. That card is going soon!!!

Just spent my lunchtime reading up on the laws of association football!! Got my referees exam today followed by a safe guarding children course. I really do feel annoyed having to do that course when I'm a teacher and spend everyday safeguarding kids.

I have paid £12.25 on the B&Q card today from the business so a bit novelty having money there to be able to pay a little, although I should be using it to sort out the business debts but couldn't resist as it is so fab looking at the progress withg the B&Q card!
I have to take the little man for his 16 week jabs this morning so have to fly but will be back later if he's not too grumpy
