If you are selfemployed, work from home and need to expand, u should consider converting a garage or spare room into a bespoke office.

This is what I did and claimed 100% of the cost against my profits. The plus side aswel is that it added value to my home.

Puzzled...on what basis did you claim 100% of the costs as a revenue expense?

Have you considered CGT on part of the property used for business? Are you paying business rates on that part?

Thank you everyone ........ My main work place is my home office. I will get in touch with Inland Revenue and starting claiming my £3 a week.
