Why not read the thread titles ~ works for me.

I guess a 0.2% fall made you so excited you just couldn't help yourself. :rotfl:

Would you care to comment on the trend

April was -0.7% and May -0.2%.

Looks like the small downward trend is aready reversing.

Its probably a boring time for bears and bulls. Give or take a fractional percentage, house prices have basically stagnated and aren't appeasing either side. Nothing happening so nothing to argue about :)

I don't subscribe to this big crash thats coming. Good property is selling and always will, but theres plenty of people on the flipside desperately trying shift their property. This is why I see a correction occuring. Those who have to sell will have to accept the economic situation and what they get offered. I still think theres a fair bit of denial among sellers. I reckon falls of about 10%, but not much more than that. A correction, but not a fullscale crash.

    Just my opinion though.

PMSL I can't beleive people are preaching the second coming of the crash after a 0.2% fall (0.1 in London???). I really can't.

It's sticky bum time for multiple property owners yet again. What with rocketting capital gains tax rates and now this bombshell.
But it's great news for normal people who want to buy a home for themselves and not just to exploit others.

    I`m positively sh@tting myself.

    With laughter.

When IR gets forced up is going to be real problem.

I say small drops or stagnation in 2010 and then a crash in 2011.

That crash in 2005 must have so bad and painful that my brain thankfully has saved me all anguish by deleting any memory of it. Wonderful thing how the human body defends itself.

That's because the BOE reduced interest rates and halted the fall. I suppose they could do that again..... Oh wait.

Higher interest rates might be on the way?
