Apologies if this is the wrong forum...
I have a subscription to Which, but have been made redundant from my job. Essentially I want to cancel the subscription, but don't know if this will affect my credit score i.e. will it look like missed payments?
I don't want to ask them as they will just tell me I entered into a contract, but at a time like this, an unnecessary magazine subscription is the last thing I need (not least because I won't be affording a thing from it!!!)

2. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing which@which.co.uk or calling us on 01992 822800. Your cancellation will take effect from the day before your next payment would have been due, unless you request an earlier date. Please be aware that for monthly subscriptions we are unable to provide refunds in respect of periods of less than 1 month and, where you are taking advantage of a longer term special subscription rate, we are unable to provide refunds in respect of your initial payment (either in whole or in part).
Please be aware that because your membership can be used immediately, you do not have the statutory cooling off period during which you may cancel your membership without charge.
I can't see anywhere in that blurb it says they are going to pooh on your credit rating (assuming you are currently fully paid up).0 -
Ooh fantastic, thank you. I couldn't find the blurb myself0

My goodness they're pushy there! I have cancelled but not after lengthy debates with the woman on the phone about the value of the product vs the saving on membership! Well there is the money saving line now... yeees, and the first thing they'd say is cull unnecessary subscriptions! Madness!!0

Hi not sure if you are aware but your local library should have Which magazines, you just need to ask them for it.0

Even the very strict 12 month gym membership I had got cancelled with just a letter and a copy of my redundancy letter. I was suprised as I was also expecting a fight.
