Hi peeps - good morning!!!
I am after a scrolling program that can make my words go left to right or the other way around that will work with Word 2000.
I understand thay are called marquee's.
It must be freeware.
Word's own version on my pc is not working so I am looking for an external program that will work as a picture attachment or add-on.

If I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.

Non javascript please.
I am not into codes and I would have to do complete searches for the exact place for my marquee.
I just want a program that I can enter the words in then place it like a picture onto my design.
Thanks regardless.

Ye spot on.
Its not any script, just a bit of inbuilt html code.
And just to let you know, no html code should be in capitals anymore. Thats bad coding.Should comply with xhtml which is lower case

Think I am being misunderstood here.
Ain't into html.
ain't into java.
I just use a third party program - what you see is what you get kind of thing.
Don't wanna appear too serious here.
I do have a program to use. It is dot matrix stuff that works for which needs a little more experimentation on.
I am just trying to find alternatives.
FrontPage has it.
My Word 2000 is just corrupted and I don't exactly know where to get a download of Office web tools bypassing Microsofts strict licensing stuff.
