You are correct about the Netgear code being an ADSL Modem Router. Unfortunately the Currys and PC World descriptions both refer to DSL cable Routers. Probably same as all part of DSG and use same info?
Obviously their staff are as silly as their prices normally are! :rotfl:0 -
I can verify it is an ADSL modem router not cable. wireless signal is not as great as they make out and it drops the internet connection alot and has to be rebooted (think this is due to a noisy bt line which the router is not good at handling)
Edit - also there is a newer adsl router DG834N (aren't the names confusing only slight changed in letters)
if you are on cable the netgear router to get is the wpnt834 i think (this has better performace than the dg834pn but lack of modem means it's not gd for us adsl customers)0
