YES!!!!!!!!
Am over the moon. never thought i'd be getting this close but finally there is light at the end of tunnel. have just paid back a whopping £1000 which I earned in extra shifts over the last 6 months which now means my CC debt is down to £600. Even though I'm at work at midnight on a bank holiday Sunday and I've worked all weekend I'm completely ecstatic because soon I won't have to live to on £50 a week and I can walk around happy in the knowledge that I no longer have this weight on my shoulders. life is brilliant
peace to you all x

What a fantastic post- am so happy for you! It just shows that if we keep chipping away at our debt, making small changes where we can, it will get results and there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I love reading people's success stories.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Yay, well done you!!!!!_party_
Now, about that mortgage....... get onto mortgage board next!!!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That is fantastic :j Well Done to you :T
May I ask what you will be differently in the future to avoid getting back into debt?
I only ask this because I have realised I got into debt simply because I didn't budget properly for things like birthdays, christmas and 'leaving do's' etc so whenever they happended, I'd use my credit card over and over. Now that I am debt free, I have done myself a proper budget so that I have enough in my little pots to cover this sort of thing.......well, that's the theory anyway
