Just looked at my thanks on here, I applied on 11 June, and I have just received a pair. I have to admit I never thought these would turn up (we are a legit company) but it is fantastic timing as OH has just taken on a contract involving building sites!

thanks op, recieved mine yesterday, i got the safety glasses with the leds on the sides, excellent for close fiddle work, and reading in the dark!;)

Got mine today - the ones with the LED lights on the side. I'm a driving instructor and managed to get one. My 3 year old loves it!

If samples take this long to arrive from a huge company like 3M, to legit business customers, it doesn't say much for 3M as a company. They'd have done better to limit one sample per request and used it as free publicity.

But bear in mind that there are nearly 6000 hits on this thread alone and assuming that many of them would have applied for free specs (some perhaps at more than one address) and the fact that this offer may have been detailed elsewhere on other forums ..............

That's a lot of 'free' safety specs to give/send out ..................... so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't turn up.
