Ok found out a few things. Apparently this type of picture is known as Reflectoporn!

There is a link on Snopes.com confirming that this kind of thing does happen on auction sites.
BTW if you ever wanted to know whether certain urban legands were true or not this is a good site to find these things out.

haha,i might trick the wife into a bit of reflectoporn,by getting her to hold some shiny object around the house for ebaying!
