Car stereo that i can plug MP3 player into?

Ok so I need a new music system in my car as I've lost the front plate to my current one.

I would like something that i can plug my MP3 player into to save moving CD's around all the time!

What do I need to look for to get this???!!

aside from buying an mp3 car stereo, if it has a tape deck, you can buy a link from mp3 player to tape slot, or if its a cd player in car, you would have to buy a transmittor that plugs into your headphones and tune it via radio, the best option is to buy an mp3/cd player for your car, theyre cheap enough nowadays

someone has told me that if i get a player with an aux in point then i can plug my mp3 player in..... is that right?

yes that would work, but im not sure of any car stereos with an aux input feature

There was an advert on the TV last night for just the very thing you are after. Halfords have them in a sale. Can't remember which make - may have been Sony. I am sure if you look on the Halfords website it will point you in the right direction

yes - i found it on halfords web site

its a sony cdx-gt100, reduced to £79.99 instead of £99.99 (£4.99 postage tho)

Edit - found it for £54.99 and £7.50 postage! still think i can get it lower tho.

Belkin now do a gadget that transmits your MP3 player to a radio frequency on your car stereo for around £30. Sounds like a decent idea.
