Has anyone had any dealings with this company. I am looking for some courier work part time and this company say they can help get you work that pays very well , BUT you have to pay them £49.99 for the privelege. I don't really want to part with any money if it is a waste of time and i'm not sure what you even get for your money. Is it worth it ??????? Any help please. Thanks WW.

I personally would avoid them - their web site looks very shoddy and what exactly are they offering here? To help you find courier work - which means what exactly? Sending you a few links and phone numbers which could easilly be obtainable through a simple google search? Looks to me like they are just selling information which is readily available on the web. If I were you google some of the large courier companyies note down lots of their numbers and get calling away and emailing your CV over to them and save wasting 49.99..!!"£$%^&*()0

Courierexchange is the only one worth a toss but that site has its golden boys who tend to get all the work.
Are you already a courier? Most jobs on websites tend to be long haul rather than local and take several hours to do.0 -
Never heard of them, but as a general rule it's wise to avoid any employer who expects the employee to pay to work for them.
As odd as it may seem, common practise is for employers to pay employees for work done."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
My advice is to definitely avoid. It's got most of the hall marks of an online scam.
1) The date at the top of the screen saying "Apply before midnight 11th June" - designed to make the reader believe they've just found a great opportunity at the last minute. I'd bet my house that if you checked back tomorrow, that will have changed to "Apply before midnight 12th June," and will change to whatever the date is you view the site.
2) The scroll down design, all leading to an easy to fill in subscription box
3) The simple tick box style bullet points (bullet points - like this - make you keep reading and scrolling, because they're easy)
4) Highlights in yellow to draw your eye and make everything seem even simpler and easier
5) Options that pretty much anybody who lands on the site will say yes to (Are you male OR female? Yes I am! Are you trust worthy? Yes I am! Can you work full OR part time? Yes I can! Would you enjoy £350 a day? Yes I would! I match all the criteria! This must be for me!)
6) Listing of high quality, recognised and trusted brand names (Toshiba, Amazon, Nokia.) How could it be a scam, when people like this are involved?
7) Exciting self employed opportunity! Three ideas that everybody wants. Excitement! Self Employed! OPPORTUNITY!
8) Big red arrows pointing, leading, you to the easy to fill in information boxes.
9) Three boxes for security, privacy and business - whatever they mean - but it's very reassuring, isn't it?
10) The obvious list of key words in grey at the bottom to try and increase search engine hits.
There's a lot of these courier things online. My basic knowledge of them is that they're trying to sell you a book, telling you how to become a courier. But you don't need an expensive book for that.0 -

No am not already a courier, am getting made redundant soon , have other irons in the fire that may take a few months to come to come through and one skill i have is that i can drive , so that is an area i was looking at for a few months. Was always unsure about this website , but i thought i would check it out with the experts.0 -

Lots of other people have the same idea. The market is flooded and the costs aren't cheap. You've not only got the cost of the van plus repairs but goods in transit insurance, public liability insurance etc etc. At 70p per loaded mile, you'll be lucky to make any profit. You'll be competing with the likes of the parcel and pallet companies - Palletways will send a pallet from the northern border of England to the south coast for £30. Could you do the same? Part time isn't an option. A mate of mine who has been doing it years can end up being out 15+hrs per day but has been known to leave Monday early am and get back late Sunday. Saying no to work isn't an option due to the market being flooded with couriers..
As someone who has recently finished a decade and half in haulage, I can honestly say that working for yourself in transport is a mugs game. Owner drivers make very little money. You only need a blowout and you can wipe out the profit for most of a week, not just the run you're on.0 -

Oooh goody, another one for my "don't touch with a barge pole" hall of fame!
Be wary of anyone who asks for a fee to find you work!Barclaycard 0% - [STRIKE]£1688.37 [/STRIKE] Paid off 10.06.120 -
Doesn't it seem strange that there are no contact details on the website yet the address on whois is the same as the easy-drop scam that is all over sitejabber and here too? Different names but the same address!!0

I see my earlier post listing the whois.com registrent information for the website has been deleted."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
