When exactly will I be able to post WITH links?

As per subject, I realise it's an anti spam measure but I've been a member since Feb of this year and still I'm not permitted to post WITH links in my replies. When does that stop and when can I use the forum like the rest of you?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think it's to do with post count. As you have only had 6 posts I can say unless you start posting regularly it may be quite some time before you can post links0

Catch 22 then really isn't it. Can't be too productive when answering questions as that would require directing people to other websites to read and see examples, that or write it all out needlessly again in a post on these forums. Therefore taking twice as much effort than is actually required.
However, if I don't write it out all over again I'm not allowed to use links in the very posts I'm complaining about not including the required links in.
If I were a spammer I would just set my software to post rubbish once every x number of days, then on the day I'm officially authorised, just blitz the forums with my spam rubbish promptly disappearing.
These forums are getting too complicated. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer. I clicked your 'thanks' button in appreciation.0 -
out of interest - are your able to paste links just as free-text, e.g. by omitting the http:// or http://www part and have them show up as non-clickable text which someone can copy-paste into an address bar, adding the prefix as they go ?0

The quickest way would be to post a few comments in the MoneySavers Arms (or anywhere else that takes your fancy). It'll soon get your post count up and then you can post links.
With a post count of 12 I don't think you'll be far off anyway.0 -
All you have to do is post on the Sainsburys Basics thread telling everybody how wonderful their watery baked beans are and they're sooooo low in fat etc etc and before you know it you'll be hyperlinking away just like me.

Would that not be the quickest way for a spammer to do it, too :-)0 -
Hi just wished to say 'Thanks' for all the input, I assisted where possible then decided I would take a break from the site for a couple of days. As it transpired, I came back and was answering a query in some group or other and didn't even notice when I typed in a familiar url to a particular site that when I posted. The url didn't receive the usual 'you cannot post this message with links' or whatever it used to say.
Obviously I appreciated the above information and have clicked all of your 'thanks' buttons to show my appreciation.0 -
Hi,
if you want to tidy up your url in a message, then copy it,
type a word, rhubarb, and highlight it, click on globe icon link, delete http:// and paste, then you can change colour if you wish, I prefer green.0
