Just bought new CRT telly - Has green and pink banding...

Hi all, I've just replaced my fairly old 28" Bush CRT TV with a Daewoo 28" Widescreen CRT from T.J. Hughes. All's well apart from some subtle green and pink vertical banding on the left hand side of the screen when the picture showing is dark.
I can see them on all scart sockets when on TV, Sky and XBOX360.
Can anyone think of something I may be able to do, before I box it and take it for a replacement?
