Openoffice user authority

Hi guys, I have openoffice running with the admisistrator account, but I also want to allow a standard account to use it. This is the problem I have - when I sign in with the standard account, I can't see the openoffice program when I click on start and all programs. I went back to the administrator account, and gave permission to the standard account, yet I still do not have access to openoffice. Any ideas what I can do to resolve this problem would be much appreciated. I have windows vista

Roughly, go to your OO icon in the admin account, open the properties and note down the command line and the working directory for OO. Open the standard account and open a command prompt. change to the working directory for OO and type in the command to start it. If that works, then your installation is OK, so go back to the admin account, find the settings directories for the menus and copy your admin menu item into the appropriate user menu entries. You could just do the copying of menu items, but if you do it the long way around you will get to see if you need to make adjustments for your user ids.

Or you could uninstall or reinstall
