Harvest

Has any one harvested anythig yet?
We've had mint,chives,rocket,rhubarb and gooseberries and a few wild strawberries.

Rocket and rhubarb here too plus radishes. Plenty of strawberries but they are in the greenhouse. Meant to look at the gooseberries but forgot, they were doing well last week and so were the redcurrants and blackcurrants. The mint looks good but I haven't used any yet.

my radishes are thin little things at the moment. I have lots of seedlings of various veg but nothing much yet looking like it might soon be big enough to eat. We thinned the gooseberries last week as the bushes have very heavy crops on them . They were delicious. Our first HM gossegogs for many years.

Lotus-eater

Rhubarb, rocket, radishes, chives and a couple of other herbs, including lots of mint for tea and new potatoes (from shop).
Various spicy salad leaves and quite a few lots of cut and come again lettuce. A few lots of nettles earlier on for soup. Some dandelions for salads after carefully forcing them under pots, waste of time that was
One tiny courgette and another to come tomorrow I think.

Nothing yet except for one tiny lettuce leaf, but lots of fun watching it all grow. With a bit of sun I should have strawberries quite soon.., but the rain is making them as big as I could wish so I can wait lol. Everytime we go past the strawberries my son demands one lol (he's four). Don't think they will last long somehow. I'm looking at them and thinking one bowl or two ha ha!

Loads of salad leaves & cos lettuce....also garlic & shallots lifted & drying.

Loads of mixed salad leaves, radishes, rocket, american land cress (hot!), baby spinach leaves and baby beetroot leaves. Any time now my first peas and ripening fast tayberries. Everything else is growing nicely
