Those freekin peacock collectors can be quite fussy, you have to be firm with them.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Have to admit, first time I saw it it looked like a peacock, until I scrolled down! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

One of my superstitions is not to have peacocks/peacock feathers in the house.
I know I am weird and sad.
Maybe the seller is aware that some peopel dont like peacocks in the house and hoping that someone will think, 'oh good, not a peacock even though it looks like a peacock feather so Ill buy it then.
Wow - the peacocks got through the profanity filter!0 -
Agreed with Tamsin.
The peacock feather is, in superstition, reported to contain the "evil eye".
More on the "evil eye" can be found on wikipedia here:

Seller is trying to avoid putting people off, I presume, by declaring the items disassociation with peacocks
I'm a nutter :j0 -
