Those freekin peacock collectors can be quite fussy, you have to be firm with them.

Have to admit, first time I saw it it looked like a peacock, until I scrolled down!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • One of my superstitions is not to have peacocks/peacock feathers in the house.

I know I am weird and sad.

Maybe the seller is aware that some peopel dont like peacocks in the house and hoping that someone will think, 'oh good, not a peacock even though it looks like a peacock feather so Ill buy it then.

Wow - the peacocks got through the profanity filter!

    Agreed with Tamsin.

The peacock feather is, in superstition, reported to contain the "evil eye".

More on the "evil eye" can be found on wikipedia here:

Seller is trying to avoid putting people off, I presume, by declaring the items disassociation with peacocks :)

Could be a freekin' thistle without the tufty purple bit? Or a freekin' poppy seed head?
Oh dear, here we go again.
