    Debt-free and Proud!
When I see that some people on this board repay tens of thousands of their debts because they have the honesty to admit it was their fault, and the courage to go without buying clothes or going out for a while in order to pay those debts, I am shocked at the advice given to Kirsty on this thread when she doesn't even have 5k worth of debts!

It is an insult to the people who are working hard and struggling to repay their debt. I am quite disgusted!

    Silly, silly, indeed!

kirsty, just be aware that mr.ton could be described as a WindUpMerchant.

All ourchoices have consequences as you have already discovered. Following mr.ton's advice will have one set of consequences, other advice will have other consequences. At a guess, mr.ton's arvice might have least consequences for the late middle aged with no ambitions. There might be more consequences for people in other segments of the population

    Errrr excuse me
Kirsty - my advice to you is.....try to avoid these so called "have your best interests at heart" people on here.
All they are interested is the profits of the debt/finance industry - many of them troll these forums in specific as they know these forums are the cause of why their industry is in decline.
Believe who you want to believe Kirsty - but as a former "cagger" myself, i know what im on about ;)

Sorry kirsty that this thread has gone a little off topic from yourr questions.
mr.ton if you read this http://www.ico.gov.uk/upload/documents/library/data_protection/practical_application/credit_explained_leaflet_2005.pdf you will understand they are allowed by law (that is the uk government) to hold and use the information that they do and see that they are regulated by the ico as I said the other week.
Answers to all your questions should be on that link or the ico website. Or you could contact the ICO if you still feel anything is unclear.

Oh so the government are in control of these CRA's effectivley are they?
    Well that is interesting

Are you accusing me of involvement in any part of the finance industry or are you just an ordinary fool?
