Depending what you're after, and if you want something a bit more bespoke that the Vivien of Holloway or HoneyPie boutique, I am having mine made by a fab dressmaker in West Yorkshire. She designs things entirely to your specification (and doesn't "copy" any pre-existing dresses, everything is unique) and the quality is amazing. I am on a mission to tell the world about her as she is just utterly fab!!! I am having a 100% silk 1950s style tea length dress, with lined lace petticoat, internal corsetry and a bolero jacket all for £525. I know that since she bought the material she's said that silk prices have glocally gone up by up to 45% so she's anticipating her suppliers putting up their prices which would obviously impact but check her out. - Dresses at No.9 based just outside Keighley.... and well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive I had to get to her!0
