Daughter in full time work

Hi everyone.
Just wondered if anyone could help please.
My daughter's left college and got herself a full time job. :T
I informed tax credits and child benefit.
No calculation back from tax credits as yet, but I know they're busy with renewals etc, and I'm fairly sure I won't be entitled anyway now she's all grown.
I have however had a letter back from child benefit to say that this will stop in August. That sounds wonderful if it's correct, every little helps, but I'm a little worried that it can't be, she is after all not a dependent (hope that's spelt right!) any more.
Thanks for reading, and for any advice given.

As she has just left college she will still be classed as a student untill she officially leaves, the end of July is usually the official end date, so child benefit stopping in August sounds right0

Thank you so much for the reply. Wow, that's great then, it'll help me help her with fares etc until the end of her first month.0
