Best Account for 16 year old HELP needed

My daughter is 16 in September (although she still has a year left at school), She is looking to get a part time weekend job and is anticipating some money for her birthday. We have had a chat about bank accounts and how it is time for her to have one and I was wondering which is he best for under 18's.
Ideally we would get one with a switch card as i dont like her taking lots of money when shopping. Any advice would be appreciated

Bank of Scotland/Halifax Cardcash account, comes with Visa Electron. Could apply for it now as they give you the same account whether you are under 16 or under 18. (with a slightly different name)
I have two (long story) and the service is excellent. Online banking too
Failing that, Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank give you a current/student/basic account at 16 and it seems they issue Maestro cards now.0 -
thanks for the advice0
