They do say that he is professional, and they are an irish site so maybe it is him as he is irish too?

That's not boring. That's £12.70 of free money, less the fiver I spent on the mags.
I've bought nothing else, and I'm too scared of poker to even attempt the Betfair stuff.
You can't lose on your first game though, it costs 100 piggypoints but they give you 500 for playing anyway so you're 400 up without having to win anything/be placed in the top 5! :TLost lbs =

It's the perfect activity for sitting in your garden, drinking a glass of Bordeaux and passing the time....What a lot of assumptions!!
Well, it's not quite true you get 400 points just for signing up, is it? You have to be at the table on time, and you have to play the damn silly game. (And I don't the know any of the rules AT ALL).
I don't have a laptop to sit in my garden with, and even if I did, we haven't got broadband in this village yet ...
So no wifi
Bordeaux is far too expensive and is often of doubtful quality, especially in the cheaper and mid-price ranges. I'll stick to Côtes de Gascogne for whites, and then there's a whole variety of local reds, like Côtes du Brulhois, which regrettably won' be available in the UK as it's made in quantities that are too small, I believe. But Cahors, Fronton, Saint-Mont, La Villedieu, Buzet ...Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

Point taken - and you know what they say about assumptions....

You can just sign in, play the first hand and bet everything on your first hand and hopefully lose and then you've got 400 points for 5 minutes of your time or you could play, fluke it and come 2nd like I did last Wednesday. I really have no idea how to play and I ticked the box to sit out for about an hour of it whilst I was chatting on the phone !There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
