me too:rotfl: but mine was better than some published, just mistimed I think, posted a good school story too and that wasn't published either:mad:

    don't think they like me:rotfl:

It's definately all about the timing. I happended to log on to Pigsback at about 11 this morning and submitted a summer story straight away, it was published with lots of others about an hour later. I was just about to tell everyone in here but got beaten to it! To be honest, my story wasn't particularly interesting or amusing so it's clearly all about whether you're lucky enough to submit it at the right time... I hope you get lucky next time!

    Dear Droupsnout
I guess we all knew that you had not left us but still noone reads the 1st page and there are always repeats of answers. Poor Jules religiously updates answers and still gets knocked and yet we are on to page 18 after 4 days.
Thanks Jules, Miskool and recently Clare for the answers

I think you can receive text messages to a landline, or you could just try and email postmaster@pigsback.com and ask them what they suggest? :)

  • Hello, I have just ordered a £10 Boots voucher and I did not have to have a mobile to receive a validation code. I had a message along the lines of my order was being processed and will be with me shortly.

I only had to receive the code for my first order, haven't done since then. But there was a time when every order required it

Me neither. But I think we get the drift of diddydi's post, eh?

I agree that if everyone did look at Jules' post at the start of the thread, there would be many fewer duplicate posts.

But this is an old bone of contention, and I'm always getting "knocked" for moaning about those who post without reading! In the great scheme of things, it's not important.

I'm shutting up now. (Yes, I know, funnyguy, "Not before time"!! :D)
