I ordered 2 lots of £10 beefeater vouchers last week and this morning they came. I got 4 x £5 vouchers.

I thought that the vouchers would be 'Beefeater' vouchers only ... so got a nice surprise when I got them. They can be used at:

    BEEFEATER

    BREWERS FAYRE

    COSTA

    DAVID LLOYD

    PIZZA HUT

    PREMIER TRAVEL INN

    TGI FRIDAYS

    THOMAS COOK

    HASTINGS

    KEITH PROWSE

    CHESSINGTON

    MARRIOT HOTELS

    LEGOLAND

    LONDON ZOO

    BELLA ITALIA

    ALTON TOWERS

    HOSEASONS

    BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH

    SAKS

    HAVEN

    BUTLINS

    HAVEN EUROPE

    LAITHWAITES

    MADAME TUSSAUDS

    WHIPSNADE

    WARWICK CASTLE

    WARNER BREAKS

    SEA LIFE

    RENAISSANCE HOTELS

    CAFE ROUGE

    RED LETTER

    THE DUNGEONS

    THORPE PARK

    ENGLISH HERITAGE

    THE ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA

    LONDON EYE

    GO TEN PIN BOWLING

So if you are thinking of going to any of these places and pigsback don't have a 'reward' for it then order these vouchers and enjoy.:j

BTW, I also got 2 beefeater offers in the envelope too so I'm very happy :T

Wow, that's great. Don't think we have a beefeater round here so I would never have ordered them but I may now, they sound fab!

I do hope that the removal of certain posts is not a sign that opinions are unwelcome here.

I've no idea which posts were deleted, and I care very little, but I do not condone the censorship of message boards unless there are exceptional reasons, including foul language, abuse of members, etc. (I appreciate that MSE is not here to do only what I condone!! :))

I would hope that all MSE readers are adult enough (in the proper sense, not in a smutty way) to read others' opinions and react to them with some tact and intelligence.

To be honest - and as I have said before - if the thread labours under the mind-numbing weight of posts announcing the same info time and time again, it gets BORING. Similarly, if all we get are repeats of questions asked countless times before, it gets BORING. Such posts are tolerable if the thread has an injection of life in some other form!

I assume there is room in the big wide world of MSE for opinions and comment on both PB and what is posted about it? And also, therefore, for discussion - and even argument??

Divadee, could you confirm that in future, posts will only be deleted if they are actually offensive in some way, rather than merely because they be abrasive?

Now I suspect that some posters, especially newbies, are going to think that I am being critical of them here. Not at all. Newbies are very welcome. PB makes people ask lots of questions. That's fair enough. Ask away! (But before asking, please do have a little look at the first few posts on the thread which have been provided by a few kind souls in order to answer all the questions which have ever been asked before!)

All that said, a few very recent posts have just sprung to mind where the exchanges were little short of childish. If those are the ones removed, my first reaction was to say, "Well done, Divadee!" On further thought, however, if people do behave in a childish way, why not let the rest of the world see it, and respond accordingly?

That's very kind of you, but I've never been away, Ella. I was posting as OneFlewOver... for a while, and board guides knew of it. Just having a small amount of fun, and seeing how the board would develop. A number of old hands were aware of my double identity, but when Funnyguy "outed" me the other day, I just resumed the "droopsnout" username.

It is sad that so many of the old regulars have dropped away from the thread, as they had so much to offer, but I can see why they might get cheesed off with things. It's a difficult problem to resolve, and I don't claim to have any answers.

Hey I am agreement with you for a change droopsnout..It does get a bit like being in class sometimes..I mean you and me both know that our humour<can be a bit sarki sometimes but we are never out to outright offend....and Miss kool my humour is too subtle for you..If my summer story is printed..you might see what I am leading up too...

Meh...no idea what is going on, but wasn't this a pigsback thread once!? I have no issue with a bit of banter but gawd, drop the politics and arguments everyone - we all have opinions and if they're not very nice and may offend keep them to your pigging (no pun intended!!) selves!!!

Now out with the hate and in with the love and for the love of bunny rabbits can we get back to at least vaguely discussing pigsback!!!

(All comments above being in good humour - I'm 20 points off a £20 voucher and the stress is getting to me LOL!)

I try not to be sarcastic. I do try to use irony, sometimes.

It is a bit disconcerting to have you agree with me. I therefore conclude that I must have been wrong! :D

Misskool may be offended by your remark about her. I think she is well able to deal with the subtleties of humour! I tend to share her view of things rather than yours, I'm afraid.

Politics is part of life - even insignificant politics as seen in this thread.

Thank you for your opinion - you are entitled to it. But I disagree with it. And I'd like both of us to continue to be able to say that. :) That's because I like a little fun through discussion. Please skip my posts in future if they're not your cup of tea. Which I can well understand. :D

That reminds me, where is dear ol' Cuppatea?
