I would probably think your are in the minority of people who dislike this 'chit chat' so in that case don't bother reading just skim through for your answers which are clearly highlighted so you don't have to read about everything else.

I thought the reason the answers to the competitions were posted on this thread was to help people win them, I won a competition last week and have only been a member for 4 months, how long do I need to be a member for, to make me a worthwhile winner ?
I posted on here as soon as I found out and thanked everyone who helped me, next time ( if there is one ) I may just keep it to myself for fear of upsetting some.:silenced:
I am always happy to hear of MSE'rs winning the comps because so much time goes into keeping this thread up and we have so much fun discussing it.

All the comments about repeat winners on this thread (and I've made a few ) are not at all aimed at the actual winners. Hey, I'm very happy when MSErs win! :j And it's certainly not about who's a 'worthwhile' winner or not.

The point is that PB's system of choosing winners is a bit questionable and doesn't seem very random - but that's not at all a comment on the winners. Enjoy the extra points, I say
