Hi i have been following this thread for a while and would like to say a big thanks for the quiz links and answers !

also just recieved the following from Pigsback re Mansion points

Please accept my apologies for any confusion caused, but due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to extend the timeframe for crediting PiggyPoints to members accounts to one month.
We are currently waiting on further confirmation from Mansion so that PiggyPoints can be credited to your PiggyBank as soon as possible.

Again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Thanks for your mail,

btw i did mention that it said 7 days and also forwarded them the email stating that ?
  • Well spotted! Its 7 days today since I signed up I haven't got my points. Looks like I'm going to have chase up Pigsback.
  • I just joined Jackpot Joy and deposited £10. As I got the bonus of another £10, I thought I'd be able to withdraw my original £10, and just play with the bonus £10. (Am I making sense) But it says I have to play through £80 before withdrawing money. I did read the T&C 's but from what others were saying on here, I thought you could take out your original £10 straight away? To be honest I dont understand the slots, anyone know which are the best games to play?

    Have just emailed them

The terms and conditions of the offer stated 7 days when i signed up not a month therefore the points should be credited in that time frame as agreed .

If the terms had stated a month i might have thought differently about joining and i feel that Mansion now have my details under false pretence .

I also do not understand why Mansion have to send confirmation if members have a confirmation email ???

lol lets see what they say !
  • Here's something I discovered that may be of use to you if you use cdwow for purchases (as you get more piggy points:T ).

Thanks to MSE I had a cdwow 5 Euro voucher to use, I wasn't sure if it would work but I gave it a go, I logged into pigsback, clicked the cdwow link and left the browser window open, then I loaded cdwow.ie (cdwow Ireland) and looked for my cd.
The cost on the uk site was 9.99 whilst 14.99 Euros on the Irish site.
I purchased the cd on the Irish site, reduced this by the voucher - total amount spent was £7.01 - then Pigsback kindly credited my account with 150 points.

So they actually paid me 10 piggypoints for every Euro!
    Total cost of my £9.99 CD = £5.51 :T

I've noticed that a few people - Jules, Misskool, Droopsnout amongst others -are up very very late.

Are you like Margaret Thatcher and can you survive on very little sleep?

Call me sad, but these things interest me :D
I resent my name being mentioned in the same post as ... hers ... !!! Erm, Thatcher, that is, not Jules or Misskool!!

No, seriously, I can do several late nights and get up early in the morning. But after a while, I have to catch up a bit on missed sleep. My former occupation used to mean that I was frequently working till 2 a.m. and getting up at 7 a.m. I got used to it over the years.

If you have a genuine interest and want to do some research, feel free to PM me.

There's a couple of us who got caught on that. I did but luckily I won loads so it wasn't really a problem although I was annoyed at myself for not checking the t&c's. I was playing pub slots which is fairly simple.

For anyone else signing up for jackpotjoy just for the points, I would avoid the sign up bonus,

The Ts & Cs make it clear that you have play £80 with them.

However, I think it is pretty dreadful that JackpotJoy (and others, I'm sure, but have no experience) don't make it clear on the promotional material, as well as in the tiny-print, boring Ts & Cs, that you can't just put money in, double it and withdraw. No-one should expect to make free money that way, and they are naive if they do, but nevertheless, the fact that you have to play SO MUCH money should be made transparent.

There is a lot of difference between the £10 commitment you start with, and the £80 you actually have to spend to get your £10 back.

I was right yesterday about the jackpotjoy points being 2000 when I signed up. I've had the following reply from pb

"Yes you will receive 2,000 PiggyPoints as the offer only changed to 1,000 PiggyPoints at 5pm yesterday"
