Thanks Droopsnout.....will try and see what happens!!:D**Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!**

:S Dam i have just signed up with JackPot Joy, accepting the bonus.
Now i have just read teh T&C:3.5 Members are required to wager FOUR times the total amount deposited (member deposit [capped at the maximum potential promotional bonus amount] + promotional bonus) BEFORE it will be possible to make a withdrawal. Wagers made on Blackjack, Roulette or Colour Wheel will not contribute to the wagering requirements with respect to the withdrawal of funds.
Does that mean i will have to wager £80 so that i can actually withdraw?
Edit:Welcome Bonus of £10.00 received on 12-Sep-2006
You must wager another £80.00 in order to meet the wager requirements of this bonus.
You have 10,050 Prize Points.

Great, i would have rathered just deposit £10, take the £10 back and then get the £10 of pigsback
Edit:
Now got to down to £32.80 more to be wagered, this might take a while to get my money back
I would not reccommend that you accept the bonus!0 -

droopsnout wrote:I thought I'd have a look at my Betfair account. So I loaded the Betfair Poker software, logged in, and clicked on "My Account". I got an error page, to the effect that the browser couldn't display the page. This also happened yesterday.
So as I'm a Betfair newbie, have they not created an account page for me yet?
Or is there something wrong with my software set-up?
I normally have Firefox 2 Beta 2 as my default browser, but when this happened, I changed it to IE7. But the error occurred both times.
I'd be very pleased to read your advice.
Originally, when trying to access my account, I was opening the software that I downloaded from Betfair to play poker with. The icon for it is on your desktop when you've downloaded.
The left-most button invites you to log in. After logging in, the left-most button then says "My Account". But it seems not to work at all.
I have solved the problem and accessed my account by NOT using that downloaded software but by going instead to https://www.betfairpoker.com.

Ooh, that's strange, Jules ... I signed up after you and got my points this morning! No money deposited and no card details given either.
Hope your points come through soon0 -

PB are way off with the location though
Darragh, bless him, was aware of the situation, and was quite happy, and the Ts and Cs at PB allow my membership. But the other day, when updating my profile, I noticed that there was a new drop-down box to show which country you are resident in. And it was Wales, Scotland and England ...
