No problem sleeping, Dustykitten. It's staying awake that's the problem!!

As for chips, well, have a bag of good ol' British chips for me this week, will you?! They're just not the same here! (Not that I miss them all that much!!)

Yes, I can imagine!! In fact, imagining is the nearest I will ever get!! Well done on a superb performance. Although I left the thread in a state of nervous collapse, I returned to the thread this morning and read of your brave exploits.

Well done also to Merlin. How did it finish over at Mansion?

Well, that's my foray into the world of poker over. Until there are some more piggy points to be had, of course!

Yesterdays Tickmaster winner DAPHNE ROWBOTHAM, Bradford appears to be related to RUNTY ROWBOTHAM, Bradford. who won the Ticketmaster Quiz on 16th August.

I may be wrong but both names did appear in Capitals.

    There was another related winner yesterday. :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

My wife!!!!!!!!!!!!! related to my father who won the Spotlight quiz on the 25th August.

I decided that I was too tired to play made a silly mistake after just short of 2 hours about 22.50

Left the game with around 15000 chips in 28th place was up around 4th with 25000. 186 left when I went to bed. Had to get in the top 88 to get paid. 880 started the tourny.

Checked this morning the toutny finished at 02.55 this morning came 36th but I won $2.25 not bad for a $0.01 entry fee with $500 added. Not bad for

I would have only got $4.00 if I came 10th

    1st prize $112.50
    2nd prize $71.00
    3rd prize $50.50
    4th prize $37.00
    9th prize $7.20

You read Latin Droop or do you recognise where the shield is from?

I served with them for over 3 years.

Yes, I can read Latin, so long as it's not too hard! (Did A-Level). As far as I know the motto is that of the Mac Kinnon clan, supporters of the Stuarts in times past. Since you "served", would that be with a Highland regiment, then? (I'm totally ignorant about military matters).

I think you may be right about the Mac Kinnon clan but the shield is the Badge of the HQ Allied (Command Europe) Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC)
