Digital Camera Photos

Hi,
I have transferred pictures from my digital camera onto my laptop and they are currently in 'jpg' format. I want to be able to have one of the photos as wallpaper but when I write click on the picture, this does not appear as an option. Can anyone 'talk' me through what I need to do please?

JPEG should be ok to set as desktop background. How are you trying to set it as background?Your tax bill is the penalty you pay for not helping the right candidates get into office.:D0

Open it with Paint and then File, Set As Background.

Ah, I've just managed to do it...the program that I was using to view the pictures was Nero Photo Snap View, which didn't have the option when I right clicked on the photo, but I have tried opening with a different one and that does now give me the option to 'set as desktop background'.
