CEX Mega rant - Slow dispatch, poor customer services

I ordered a phone from CEX on Monday at about 17:30. CEX claim that they usually dispatch orders within 24 hours. My order is still in the "Stock Picking Complete" stage.
Now I'll admit that I am far less patient than the average person. Nonetheless, in my opinion saying that orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours means that from a customer service point of view, an explanation is due as soon as 24 hours is passed, or at the very least another 24 after that. CEX do not have a phone number anymore, the old one gets you no response. I emailed CEX asking what was going on and got this:
Oh wow how helpful.
Last night I sent them a slightly longer email including 'I appreciate that sometimes orders will be delayed, but can you please explain to me what the reason of the delay is and when do you estimate it will be dispatched, rather than telling me it will be dispatched "shortly".' Guess what, same response right down to the name. They had the cheek to quote my email without even responding to one single point of it.
Excuse my immaturity, but I think my feelings are best summarised as:

Dear Customer,
I apologise deeply for the delay. This order is being processed and will be dispatched shortly.
