I am looking for 2 off cuts of granite to go in my leanto .. i have been offered 2, One is right size but the other is 20cm too long its 3cm thick .. could it be cut by a angle grinder and a diamond tip blade?.. Or does someone know of a granite cutter in south bedfordshire?

Yeah someone's just done our fireplace in granite and that's all they used. The skill is keeping it straight!Out on blue six..
It's Chips and Jackets, Peas and Trousers.0 -
Might be worth asking a local undertakers - presumably they must either cut, or use someone who cuts, granite for the gravestones and whatnot.0

When my son's worktops were fitted recently that was all they used. I assume that it was a diamond tipped saw. However, as has been said, the chap doing it had a much steadier hand than I have got, and made a good job of it. It also made a hell of a mess with the dust generated.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
