British Gas new deal

I have just received a call from BG informing me that as a long term Home Care customer I am entitled to a new deal whereby if I return to BG as my energy provider they will gaurantee that they will track the price of all other providers until Oct 2011 and charge less than the lowest priced. Seems too good to be true, anyone else had this offer.

But if I did I would tell them to poke it as it is British Gas.

Its Market Monitor 2011 and it tracks the cheapest Standard dual fuel of any the 5 Major Suppliers. Not the cheapest deal on the market. Online tariffs are much cheaper than this but It will be cheaper than any major supplier at average consumption.

Use Comparison websites to find your cheapest supplier.

Be warned BG say they are the cheapest at Standard..........................but you don't want Standard you want the deals.Gerrard is right if you know what you use (check your bills for consumption) go to somewhere like Uswitch
