    Does windows still boot ok? Do you notice ANY other problems? If it doesnt boot does it just freeze on that error? does the error appear in a windows box or is it in like in the bootup screen etc..

  • Just thinking allowed did you delete any programs without using the uninstall tool? if so it could be trying to run a registry file not there..

    if you did..
    Start > run > msconfig

    then in the startup uncheck the box of the software you deleted.

    Try running autoruns, save the list and post it..
