  • i got my samples tody and i'm really pleased. They are quite a reasonable size and come in tiny lidded pots and i've found the perfect colour for my skin tone. It looks so natural, i cant believe it!!! all these years of wearing foundation that wasnt quire right, bu did the job, but this stuff is great, colour wise. Only had it on for one day, so i'll report back in a couple of days on how i've gotten on.
The eyeshadow samples came in little bags which arent the most practical of things but the colours are top! not sure about staying power yet.
thanks again OP for flagging this site up!

  • Dont Send For The Samples I Did And When They Arrived They Were That Small You Could Only Use Them On A Sindy Doll. Its A Con
  • Just received my order and I am disapointed with the eyeshadows, I would rather have paid exta to have them in a little pot the same as the foundation etc which are rather cute.
  • samples only good for a sindy doll

These are the eyeshadows in little bags from LilyLolo. right? They're that small because they're Samples!

If you use eyeliner/shadow brushes....and you should for best results....they are perfectly adequate for trying out a few times, whether as a liner or as an all-over shadow as you only need to use a tiny bit. That is the purpose of a sample. It's not to give you enough to use for weeks ;) .
  • i've used my foundation today and honestly a little goes a long way. the pots might be small but u dont need to cake it on and as already said, they're samples not weeks worth of product! i still think they're worth it and will b eordering full sizes soon. The eyeshadows are a bit trcky to use but the colours are gorgeous.

I ordered quite a few :o They are small, but they were only 29p- bargain!!!

I bought them for my teenage DD and shes happy trying them all out. The colours look really nice, especially liked the golden lilac eyeshadow.

I also had to email Customer Service as I had problems putting my order through, had a quick reply from them, and items were delivered quickly.

    Thanks OP

Recently my sister gave me of her some Bare Escentuals to try, but it was all too yellow-toned for me (she lives in L.A. so it suits her tan  ).

Last evening I sent off for the Starter Kit from http://www.everydayminerals.com/ and added a mini eyeshadow to it, so with p&p that comes to US$37.43 which works out at around £19.68 at yesterday's exchange rates.
An acceptable price, I feel, for 2 full-sized pots of foundation, 1 blusher, 1 concealer, 1 finishing powder , 2 brushes and a mini eyeshadow.... all of which should help conceal my slight rosacea problem and not make it flare up :o .

what i like about that site is you can order samples for free and just pay shipping upto 3 foundation samples etc
    defo worth a look thanks:T
  • The samples are great for me as I have quite sensitive skin, so I will be able to check they agree with me before purchasing the full sized product.

Just wish more make-up sites did the same.

    Thanks to the OP x
:T Big thanks to everyone who posts comps :T
