Acceptable postage technique - envelopes etc!

Hello again!
Once i've sorted out my postal insurance etc I was wondering the most acceptable way to receive a package. I am sending some perfumes to my buyers and have at my disposal:
lots of padded jiffy bags of various sizes
parcel tape
rolls of bubble wrap
Is it ok to send these in jiffy bags as opposed to boxes? I can't imagine they'd be any safr in a box, but maybe more at risk from bumps from rolling about!
Just thought I'd check the etiquette with you guys I'm new at the Ebay thing (can you tell?!) :rotfl:

I'd post in a box, if your perfume bottle got broken I doubt if your claim would stand up if you had a breakable item just in a jiffy, or even 2 jiffys, boxes are much sturdier. Go to your supermarket and hover while they fill the shelves and ask for the boxes, they'd only be throwing them out anyway0

I think you'll find that small bottles like this are quite strong but as you have bubble wrap I would roll it up in a good amount of that and then put it in a jiffy bag. It is international so you do not need to worry about the size of it.0

I'd use boxes, with plenty of padding (e.g. bubble wrap) to prevent the contants from rattling about.0

Personally, I jiffy bag everything. Lots of bubble wrap - always recycled from packages I have received - and a padded Jiffy.
Works for me

if u are going to send it in a jiffy - plenty of bubble - fold the jiffy around the wrapped bottle then wrap the whole thing in lots of parcel tape to make the package sturdier:rolleyes: Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0
